This issue should be resolved with all of the newest versions of our themes, however on some installs the slider has a JS bug that causes the site to load slowly.

To resolve, go to Appearance > Theme Options > Slider and make note of all the ON/OFF settings, then turn all switches to OFF then save changes, then turn them all back to ON and save changes. Then reference your note about the original settings and modify accordingly, then save changes. The JS issue should be resolved.
